Our Forensic Platform

We Use the Same Tools as Law Enforcement

Oxygen Forensic Detective is the global standard for digital evidence extraction — trusted by investigators in over 150 countries. It is not consumer software. It is the platform courts recognise, that lawyers rely on, and that opposing counsel cannot easily dismiss.

The same platform used by police

Oxygen Forensic Detective is the preferred extraction tool of law enforcement agencies, government bodies, and intelligence services across the world. When we produce a report, it carries the same methodology your opposing counsel would struggle to challenge.

Write-blocked from the moment we touch your device

Before any extraction begins, a hardware write-blocker is placed between your device and our forensic workstation. This physically prevents any data being written to the device — the original evidence is never altered.

Every extraction is mathematically verified

We generate cryptographic hash values at the point of acquisition and again after imaging. If a single byte were changed, the hashes would not match. This is how courts know your evidence has not been tampered with.

01

You've received threats and need proof

Threatening messages, harassing calls, and coercive behaviour leave digital traces — even after they've been deleted. We recover that evidence in a format courts accept for protection orders and criminal proceedings.

An employee left — and may have taken data with them

USB insertion logs, file access timelines, email exports, and cloud sync activity tell the full story of what was copied, when, and where it went — before, during, or after an employee's departure.

You suspect your device has been compromised

Hidden monitoring apps, remote access tools, and account intrusions leave forensic traces. We identify what's on your device, who installed it, and when — and provide documented evidence for police or legal action.

You've been scammed and need evidence for police

Romance scams, investment fraud, and account takeovers generate digital trails. We document the evidence chain your bank, police, or the ACCC will need to investigate and pursue the matter.

Critical messages or files have been deleted

Deleted doesn't always mean gone. Depending on the device and how long ago deletion occurred, we can often recover messages, photos, documents, and call records from unallocated storage.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Honest answers before you pick up the phone.

01 How long does a forensic extraction take?
Most mobile phone extractions are completed within 24–48 hours of receiving the device. Computer forensics and cloud data extraction may take 2–5 business days depending on data volume. We provide a realistic timeline at the time of quoting.
02 Is the evidence admissible in Australian courts?
Yes. We follow internationally recognised forensic methodologies including write-block protection, cryptographic hash verification, and documented chain of custody. Our reports are structured to meet the requirements of Australian court proceedings.
03 Do I need to bring my device in person?
Personal drop-off at our Nerang office is preferred for chain-of-custody integrity, but we accept postal submissions from clients across Australia and New Zealand using a documented secure shipping process.
04 Can deleted messages really be recovered?
Often, yes — but it depends on the device, operating system version, encryption settings, and how much data has been written to the device since deletion. We provide an honest assessment before you commit. Continued use of the device after the incident reduces recovery likelihood.
05 How much does it cost?
Most engagements fall between $800 and $1,200 for a full extraction and analysis report. Complex matters or multi-device cases are quoted individually. All fees are fixed-price — no hourly billing surprises.
06 Is my enquiry confidential?
Absolutely. All enquiries and engagements are treated with strict confidentiality under our privacy policy. We do not disclose client information to third parties without your written consent, except where legally required.

Practical Guidance

Before You Call Us

A few simple steps taken now can significantly improve what we're able to recover — and how well your evidence holds up in court.

01

Stop using the device

Every action taken on a phone or computer after an incident can overwrite deleted data. The sooner you stop using it, the better your chances of recovery.

02

Don't delete anything

Even if messages or files seem damaging, deleting them now can harm your case and may itself be viewed unfavourably by a court. Leave everything as it is.

03

Do not factory reset

A factory reset makes forensic recovery significantly harder and in some cases impossible. Even if advised by someone else — do not reset the device before speaking to us.

04

Write down what happened

A brief timeline — what occurred, when, and what you're hoping to find — helps us focus the examination and give you a more accurate assessment on your first call.
