Why Legal Professionals Choose Us

Forensic Evidence That Holds Up in Court

Reports your client can rely on in cross-examination

Our methodology is documented, transparent, and auditable. Every report includes full chain-of-custody records, hash verification, and a formal analyst declaration — structured to survive challenge by opposing counsel.

Direct engagement with your legal team

We work directly with solicitors and barristers to understand what the report needs to address, what questions may arise, and how to present technical evidence clearly to a non-technical court.

Expert witness available when you need it

Our analyst is available for oral testimony in Queensland courts and via video link elsewhere. We can also provide rebuttal analysis of opposing expert reports and briefs for cross-examination.

Fixed fees, realistic timelines

We quote fixed fees before commencing work — no hourly billing surprises. We tell you honestly what's achievable and deliver on time, or we tell you why upfront.

Practical Guidance

Before You Brief Us

A well-scoped brief leads to a faster turnaround, a tighter report, and evidence that answers the right questions from the outset.

01

Define the evidentiary questions

Know what the report needs to answer before briefing us. A defined scope — specific allegations, time periods, or data types — means a faster turnaround and a cleaner, more targeted report.

02

Advise us of hearing dates early

We build our delivery schedule around your court timeline. Early notice of hearing dates means we can guarantee report delivery with enough time for your team to review before filing.

03

Direct liaison is preferred

We work best when we can communicate directly with the instructing solicitor from the outset — not through intermediaries. Direct engagement ensures the report addresses exactly what your matter requires.

04

Flag contested expert evidence early

If you expect the other side to call a digital forensics expert, brief us early. We can prepare rebuttal capability in parallel with primary analysis — and have a response ready before the other side files.

Common Questions

For Legal Professionals

01 How quickly can you turn around a report for an urgent matter?
For urgent matters, contact us directly to discuss your timeline. Mobile extractions can often be completed within 24–48 hours. Expert witness reports typically take 5–10 business days from receipt of all materials, but we can accommodate tighter deadlines for most matters.
02 How are your reports structured for court?
Our reports follow the applicable court rules for expert evidence in the relevant jurisdiction — including the required analyst declaration, disclosure of qualifications, and statement of independence. We can format reports for specific court requirements on request.
03 Can you give evidence via video link?
Yes. We can appear by video link for interlocutory matters and in jurisdictions where this is available. In-person attendance is available in Queensland and for interstate matters by arrangement.
04 Can you liaise directly with our client?
Yes, with your instructions. We can deal directly with your client for device collection and preliminary briefing, reporting back to you at each stage. Alternatively, we can work entirely through your office — whichever process suits your practice.
05 Do you provide rebuttal reports on opposing expert evidence?
Yes. We regularly review and rebut opposing expert reports — identifying methodological errors, unsupported conclusions, or gaps in the opposing analyst's findings. We can provide a rebuttal report or a brief for cross-examination of the opposing expert.
06 What if the matter settles before report completion?
We will suspend work immediately on your instruction and charge only for work completed to that point. No fixed report fees apply if the work is incomplete — we invoice for actual time spent.
